One Year

Today is May 25th, my birthday, and tomorrow, one year since the Lockwood-Thompson Roundtable that made me want to start this blog. I told all my friends that the night felt life changing and it still holds true. I haven't felt the same since that night. Ted Hope, Spike Jonze and Lisa Cholodenko's words have stuck with me. Since then, myself and everyone in TurnStyle have been putting out videos at a breakneck pace. We created a series named Through the TurnStyle and have made a ton of connections in the music industry. I have a constant sense of validation. Though I might second guess my choices on particular projects, I don't have a looming sense of dread over whether or not I should be doing film. There is no indecision when it comes to that anymore.

I feel a great sense of pride for everything we've accomplished this year. Every member of the TurnStyle Crew and everyone who has helped out on projects should feel the same way.

Right now I'm on my way to Chicago, on a trip to talk to Director Sridhar Reddy, whom I worked with on Lilith. I'm headed there with Jamie to talk to him about the details of financing and shooting a full-length. I want to know everything I can before diving head first into shooting "Lost in the Noise" which I have finally finished writing.
.........................................................................................................................

I wanted to really grasp what we've accomplished this year so I've decided to post every video we've come out with in the past year, all 24 of them! So if you haven't seen one yet take a minute to watch.
