Akron First Night

Jujst found out that our video for Shivering Timbers will be playing at First Night Akron tonight as part of their New Year's festivities! We will be playing in a line-up of the best shorts that have played in Akron Art Museum as part of the film program this year. I'm super pumped. People will be ringing in the New Year with TurnStyle Films!

Lake Erie Monster vol. 3

This marks 3/4 of a year since we've been shooting with John. Time flies. It's crazy.

The documentary we've been working on with him will be ramping up over the coming months. I think we're finally at a place that we may have something substantial.

I'll be editing all winter and into spring. I have my fingers crossed that we have a full length on our hands. We'll see what comes of it. I'd love for it to premier at TIFF 2013, that is if I hit the June deadline.

John G edit starting

Over the coming months we will be assembling our John G documentary. We still have plenty of shooting to do. but in the coming weeks I will begin sifting through all of the footage we already have. I'm really excited to start the long final stage or this project. We'll see what we end up with.

Foxygen Shoot

On Monday we shot a Through the TurnStyle session with Foxygen. The guys were real fun and I think it's going to cut together really well. So expect to see that sometime after the new year. 2013 here we come!

Here is our new film bumper that will play before all of our short films. It will make it's official premier in front of 'The Naked Zinester' when it heads off to festival.

Alan Brooks Shoot

Last week we had a shoot for a music video with local acoustic act Alan Brooks. After getting kicked off the RTA by the cops for filming we managed to rework the video concept and finish up the shoot on time. It should be out in a couple weeks. I think it's going to turn out really great.

The Naked Zinester: Festival Submissons

The Naked Zinester has now been submitted to festivals! I made a collage of the logos below. Hopefully I'll hear back from them soon. Fingers crossed that we make it into them. I'll be submitting it to a few more in the coming weeks so we'll see what the final line-up is.
