Anti-Flag and A-F Records!

A few weeks ago we headed out to Pittsburgh to catch the last show of the Anti-Flag 20 Year Tour. It was an absolutely insane show with a crazy crowd and an amazing line-up (Worship This!, Code Orange Kids, Lemuria, Anti-Flag). Seeing as how we've been doing work for their label I was very excited to meet the guys in AF finally. They were really cool and we'll be doing more projects with them/their label in the future. Big things a coming. For those of you who couldn't make it to the show a picture will never capture the feeling in that room but here's one anyway.

The music video for "Indifferent, the first single from Worship This!'s debut full-length album, Tomorrow, I'll Miss You. Tomorrow I'll Miss You will be released on Anti-Flag's label A-F Records. The video concept deals with an aging group of musicians facing mortality and a path telling them give it all up for the sake of maturity. They have to look within to find themselves and the glory of their past.

Worship This! music video premier show

The Velvet Wasp Shoot

This past weekend we shot our new short film 'The Velvet Wasp'. It's the most ambitious project we've ever done and could have used more time. This weekend was packed and very stressful but I think we captured some amazing performances. I can't wait to get to work finishing it up.

The Velvet Wasp - Casting

Our next short film will be The Velvet Wasp. It is written by Kevin Tasker (McSweeney's published author we have worked with before). It's a tight little script and will end up being a really awesome piece. We shoot in about a month. For now we're just prepping the project. This past weekend we held a casting call and actually met some very talented actors. Can't wait to get this project rolling!

This release has been truly overwhelming. 10,000 views in 3 days? I don't even know how to wrap my head around that number.

Thank you to each and every person who shared it. We couldn't have gotten so much attention without your help. I wish I could thank each and everyone of you, and I my even try in between working on our next projects.

Thank you to all of the blogs!

Thank you to the entire TurnStyle Films team for all of your hard work on the project itself. As well as pushing it like crazy over the weekend. Everyone has been unbelievably committed.

I managed to get it under the nose of the vastly talented director, Ian Mcfarland. If you still haven't watched Rungs in a Ladder, do yourself a favor and click on it right now. My jaw literally hit the floor while watching it. That being said, it was obviously a surprise to me that he had nothing but glowing things to say about The Naked Zinester. It was a great feeling to hear those compliments coming from such a talented person.

Last but obviously not least I'd like to thank Aaron, Meg and Cherry again. I don't think I can thank them enough. This has been our biggest release ever and it all due to them. I'm so glad they invited us down and let shoot with them. They took a chance on us when they didn't even know us and gave us some of the best content we've shot to date.

Let's see how high we can get this thing. Let's see where it'll take us.
